IMPACT WRESTLING
February 24, 2022
Commentary: Tom Hannifan & Matthew Rehwoldt
Moose comes out and says at No Surrender he proved why he’s the greatest champion in the game and he did it again at No Surrender to W. Morrissey. Despite that, everyone is talking about Eddie Edwards. Moose talks about how he’s turned every opponent’s life upside down. Suddenly, out comes Heath. He says this ain’t no joke. Eddie Edwards was a piece of the IMPACT puzzle. He doesn’t know if Moose is aware of this, but we’re at war. Despite that, Moose is cracking jokes. He’s busted his ass to get to IMPACT and sure, he got hurt, but these fans stuck by him. He’s happy to be a part of IMPACT, but he’s ashamed the champion is just standing by. Moose questions where he has been the past few weeks. Has Moose heard of COVID-19 protocols? Well now he tested negative and now he has a plan in mind. Face Moose and win the title to represent IMPACT Wrestling in the right manner. Well Moose makes it clear he doesn’t care about ROH, Honor No More, IMPACT Wrestling, Rich Swann, Willie Mack, Steve Maclin, Rhino, Heath, his family or his ugly ass kids. Heath brawls with Moose and downs him. Heath celebrates and then walks to the back.
Back there, Team IMPACT wants Heath to join them and go after Honor No More. Scott D’Amore says that it’s not going to happen as they are going to honor the result of No Surrender. They can settle that in the three-man tag. D’Amore notes that Edwards is rumored to be commenting on his actions at No Surrender and Rhino wants to tear him apart.
Back from break, Honor No More shows up…late. No Eddie Edwards however. Matt Taven says Eddie will show up on his own time and D’Amore will be the first to know. Enter Moose. He says he doesn’t have a problem with Honor No More as long as they stay out of his way. D’Amore is upset. He books him vs. Heath at Sacrifice.

The teams trade corner splashes but IMPACT hold King up for a shotgun dropkick courtesy of Sabin. It’s Sabin and Bennett who are the legal men. Taven gets the tag. We soon head to break and back from it, Swann is taking it to the former Kingdom members. He tags in Willie Mack and Willie is on a roll. Mack hits a Samoan Drop. Standing moonsault from Mack. Big bodyslam to Taven. Mack soon gets isolated. Bennett and Mack hit their Proton Pack finisher on Mack for the 1-2-3.
WINNERS: Honor No More
Out comes Eddie Edwards. He gets it. People feel betrayed and they’re right to feel that way but you’re wrong to blame him. The reason he joined Honor No More is to expose corruption in IMPACT Wrestling. Two years ago meant that D’Amore opened doors to others outside IMPACT Wrestling. He was all for it, he welcomed it because he believed in what IMPACT Wrestling was doing. Even when Kenny Omega challenged for the title he was all for it. Swann dropped the ball on Kenny and he let an outsider walk away with the belt. He waited patiently for his shot. Sami Callihan failed, Moosed failed. Eddie still waited for his shot. IMPACT never gave it to him, so he had no choice but to listen to Honor No More. He didnt turn his back on IMPACT, Scott D’Amore and IMPACT Wrestling turned his back on him.
Out comes Alisha Edwards. She isn’t happy. She can’t believe he’s defending his actions. He should be asking for forgiveness to that IMPACT locker room. How could Alisha say that? She saw it all first hand. Alisha makes it clear that Alexander got the job done and brought the title back home to IMPACT. Eddie says this is his family now? Alisha: what about his actual family? Eddie says that is up to her.
