Tommaso Ciampa displayed his fighting spirit against Dolph Ziggler, but “The Show Off” showed up on NXT 2.0 and so did Robert Roode.
Ziggler and Ciampa faced off against one another in the main event of the February 22 episode, and the match was competitive as fans would expect. The two had the Capitol Wrestling Center in the palms of their hands as the two tore the house down, but it was Dolph who got the big W when a cameraman clocked Ciampa. This cameraman revealed himself to be Ziggler’s RAW tag team partner, Robert Roode, a former NXT Champion.
With the victory, Ziggler earned the right to challenge Bron Breakker for the NXT Championship.

Post-match, both men took it upon themselves to attack Ciampa, but Bron Breakker came out for the save. The current NXT Champion then challenged both Ziggler and Roode to a tag match next week, where he’d team up with Ciampa. The two duos subsequently brawled to close the show.
.@bronbreakkerwwe is here to even the odds for @NXTCiampa, but they don't want to wait until next week for a piece of @HEELZiggler & @RealRobertRoode! #WWENXT pic.twitter.com/mRx79JwoWW
