Long-time WWE Spanish play-by-play commentator Carlos Cabrera has been released by the company.
Hugo Savinovich of Lucha Libre Online broke the news regarding the most recent WWE release this morning. Posting the following message on social media:
“LAST MINUTE! As Hugo Savinovich has just reported EXCLUSIVELY for Lucha Libre Online, the legendary announcer in Spanish, Carlos Cabrera, has been fired from WWE after 29 years with the company,” Lucha Libre Online tweeted.
Carlos Cabrera has been part of the WWE family since 1993. A very shocking release, all things considered. It just goes to show that no one is truly safe in the company anymore.
