MLW Fusion Teases ‘Major Free Agent’ Tonight In Series Return

MLW Fusion is back and it will be with a major player showing up in the league. The announcement was first made by Major League Wrestling CEO Court Bauer on Twitter.

MLW has made plenty of teases as to who this particular player may be. In the past several weeks, we’ve seen Easter egg references to former MLW World Champion Swerve Strickland, former manager Salina De La Renta and vignettes have been shown likely symbolizing Killer Kross, who worked with MLW right before previously signing with WWE. It should be noted in today’s MLW newsletter shared before tonight’s show, the headline teasing the major free agent does include the GIF of the assumed Killer Kross graphic. Fusion has been off air for several weeks as the limited series MLW Azteca was plugged into its programming spot. Azteca was more of venture into Cesar Duran’s underground world of Lucha Libre and all of the matches took place in Tijuana. Now, Fusion returns on a new day and a new look. The tapings for the return originally took place in Dallas.
