Mandy Rose remains atop of the NXT women’s division. On the February 8 episode of WWE NXT 2.0, Rose faced off against Kay Lee Ray in the main event and the playing field was level when she stepped into the ring, as Toxic Attraction was taken out backstage by Indi Hartwell and Persia Pirotta.

It was Ray who started off on the strong offensive as she hit a crisp tornado DDT and dove onto the outside to the champion. Mandy does fight back which leaves the Capitol Wrestling Center clearly were divided. Kay Lee almost gets a good submission win with a modified crossface, but Mandy broke the hold with a pin attempt. Offenses and pin attempts continue to be traded. That aforementioned playing field did not remain level as Jacy Jayne & Gigi Dolin knocked Ray off the top rope, and the interference allowed Rose to hit a running knee for the win.

Post-match, Toxic Attraction aimed to wield Ray’s bat against her, but Io Shirai ran in to help her. The duo sent Toxic Attraction running and stood tall to close the show.
