The Miz has always performed his best when under pressure.
The Miz recently appeared on The Ringer Wrestling Show where he would to delve into he and Maryse’s upcoming match at this weekend’s Royal Rumble premium live event against WWE Hall of Famers Edge and Beth Phoenix. Miz said that he and his wife are very good when the odds are against them, and always finding a way to win is why he’s been more successful than most other WWE Superstars.
“I feel like Maryse and I are very good at when people are like ‘Oh well, Edge and Beth are gonna beat them, there’s no doubt in my mind.’ We’ll always will make you believe we’re getting beat. We always find ways [to come out on top], we always do. We always find a way to win,” Miz stated.
“The reason I have more championships than 90 percent of superstars in WWE history is because I’ve been able to outsmart, outmaneuver, outstrategize Superstars,” Miz explained, “and that sometimes means more than your brawn and how big you are and how fast you are and how athletic you are. Like, I’m athletic, I can fight, but I can also outsmart you.”
