Two WWE NXT 2.0 stars will work another TV taping this week, and they’re reportedly not coming alone.
Per Mike Johnson of PWInsider, LA Knight and Roderick Strong will be at their third consecutive main roster TV taping; they’re set to be at WWE SmackDown. The two men faced off in a dark match ahead of WWE SmackDown last week and participated in Main Event tapings before WWE RAW on Monday night. But Johnson also notes that Dakota Kai and former NXT Women’s Champion Io Shirai are also scheduled to be at SmackDown on Friday. It’s currently unclear what WWE’s plans are for them on Friday night.
Shirai last wrestled at a main roster show at WWE Royal Rumble 2019, when she competed in the women’s battle royal. Kai worked some dark matches at TV tapings this past December.
