Von Wagner ‘Suspended’ & ‘Unsuspended’ On NXT 2.0
Von Wagner received repercussions following NXT New Year’s Evil but it didn’t last long. The son of Wayne Bloom was “fined” and “suspended” by officials after he went on a rampage at New Year’s Evil as he attacked members of the “Chase U” student section in the Capitol Wrestling Center. The announcement was made on the 1/11 episode of NXT 2.0, but later on it was revealed by Vic Joseph that Wagner’s suspended was lifted after his fine was paid by someone, whose identity was left unknown.

Joe Gacy & Harland Get DQ’ed In Dusty Tag Classic Qualifier
Qualifying for the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic didn’t seem like a top priority to Joe Gacy and Harland. The two “woke” wrestlers had a chance to earn their spot for the Dusty Cup on the 1/11 episode of NXT 2.0 as they competed against Malik Blade and Edris Enofe. Harland, however, got a little bit too vicious in his offense. It ultimately led to the referee calling for the bell and giving Blade and Enofe the disqualification victory, therefore allowing the underdogs to qualify for the tournament. Gacy was subsequently shown grinning at Harland’s actions, so it seems like this setback was part of the plan.
