Tony D’Angelo was the first to get hold of the crowbar in his match against Pete Dunne and it almost didn’t pay off on NXT 2.0. Tony D said there are 16 ways to inflict damage with a crowbar and he sure attempted to do such against Dunne in their Crowbar On A Pole Match. The fight started off as a test of signature skills as D’Angelo used his amateur wrestling background while Dunne displayed why he is a master of joint manipulation. D’Angelo attempted to use the crowbar, but Dunne made use of the weapon first.
The fight spilled to the outside before it went back in the ring. D’Angelo nailed a neckbreaker with a crowbar before Dunne used it for leverage in a crossface. It was D’Angelo who secured the W when he smacked Dunne in the kisser with the crowbar after sending him into a wedged steel chair in the corner and the pole itself.
