AJ Styles will finally get his hands on Grayson Waller on the January 11 episode of WWE NXT 2.0.
The two stars have been feuding in recent weeks, and “The Phenomenal One” came back to the rainbow brand to confront Waller on NXT New Year’s Evil. There, Styles described how the fans’ passion has always made NXT special, and he’d be “damned” if he’d let someone like Waller ruin that. The man of the hour then came to the ring and mocked Styles for his decisive loss to Omos the previous night on WWE RAW.
In response, Styles challenged Waller to a match then and there, but the NXT star opted to wait until the following week so he could face the former WWE Champion in the main event.

Throughout the show, WWE also announced several other matches for the show. Most notably, Santos Escobar will face Xyon Quinn in the latest escalation of the latter’s feud with Legado del Fantasma. Elektra Lopez is caught in the middle of this rivalry, and on Tuesday night, she announced that she’ll leave with the winner of Quinn’s bout with Escobar.
