Is Maki Itoh on her way back to All Elite Wrestling?
In the post-match media scrum for TJPW Tokyo Joshi Pro ’22 following winning the International Princess Championship, Maki Itoh stated that she would return to All Elite Wrestling with this title and defeat Thunder Rosa while she’s there:
“With this belt, Itoh will definitely go to AEW! And fight Thunder Rosa again,” Maki Itoh said. “And Itoh will definitely win! There are many more attractive people in the world. Itoh wants to beat them one by one with this belt.”
It didn’t take long for Thunder Rosa to respond to Maki Itoh on social media stating that she’s defeated Itoh for this same championship before and will again if she shows up in All Elite Wrestling:
“I was actually thinking the opposite. FOR THE RECORD, I BEAT YOU FOR THAT CHAMPIONSHIP BEFORE and I will again! 2. @maki_itoh you must be out of your freaking mind if you think you can defeat me. B*tch is open season! Ass whippings are giving for free at @AEW get in line,” Thunder Rosa tweeted.
Maki Itoh responded by telling Thunder Rosa that she talks too much. So hopefully, these two women will be able to face one another in an All Elite Wrestling ring sooner rather than later.
