Tracy Smothers is set to be inducted into the inaugural Indie Wrestling Hall of Fame, Game Changer Wrestling announced on Wednesday.
Smothers, who was a veteran of many major wrestling companies including WWE, WCW, and ECW, is a legend amongst wrestlers and wrestling fans alike. Unfortunately, the superstar passed away on October 28, 2020, meaning he will be a posthumous addition to the Hall of Fame.
The Indie Wrestling Hall of Fame class of 2022 will include the likes of Dave Prazak, Homicide, and Jerry Lynn, several men who have made impressive marks on the the world of professional wrestling, especially the independent wrestling scene. The Indie Wrestling Hall of Fame ceremony will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2022, at 7 p.m. EST in The Cutting Room. Tickets for the ceremony are available now for those looking to attend.
