After successful run as tag team partners, it looks like AJ Styles and Omos are officially done, as the giant Superstar attacked Styles on the December 20 episode of WWE RAW.
On Monday night, the duo appeared on Miz TV after their relationship has been increasingly tense in recent weeks. The Miz made matters worse by revealing that Omos felt like Styles has been holding him back. Before Omos could speal for himself, though, The Mysterios came to the ring for their match with the former former champions.
During the bout, Styles’ bond with Omos utterly fractured, as the big man out refused to tag in when Styles wanted him to, leading to Rey quickly rolling up Styles for the win. Afterwards, Styles got in Omos’ face, calling him “a piece of trash” before the two men started to brawl. Unfortunately for Styles, Omos was too much for him, as the powerhouse caught a splash attempt before slammed Styles to the mat. He then told his former partner that the next time the two see each another, it will be in a match.

Later in the show, WWE confirmed that Styles will face Omos next week in a singles match.
