Tommaso Ciampa got his wish and now has a new action figure highlighting his WarGames 2020 look.
Tommaso Ciampa recently took part in an unboxing video for his new Ringside Collectibles Exclusive action figure, which immortalizes his entrance and ring gear from NXT TakeOver: WarGames in 2020. Ciampa said he’s only worn the gear that one time, and said that he wanted something that stood out and could one day be recreated as an action figure.
“This was a one-off. The only time I ever wore it was WarGames and guys, they killed this thing. The detail, the packaging, the tank from WarGames, I love it. I love everything about it. The mask was custom made from start to finish, the entire thing was designed with me hoping that one day I would get an action figure from Ringside Collectibles,” Ciampa said, “and it’s exactly what happened. I couldn’t be more excited.”
Ciampa compared the figure’s detail to the actual WarGames ring gear that he brought with him to the unboxing session, calling the attention to detail “spot-on” and unbelievable. He also explained the meaning of the necklace included with the figure, which was something he asked them to include for a sentimental reason.
Tommaso Ciampa defeated Timothy Thatcher in singles competition at NXT TakeOver WarGames in 2020; watch the complete unboxing video below and pre-order the figure at this link.
Ciampa was also in action at this year’s WarGames event, the first WarGames event under the NXT banner without the “TakeOver” branding since the brand introduced the match concept back in 2017. Catch up on full results from WarGames 2021 at this link and this week’s episode of NXT on USA here.
