Samuray Del Sol (formerly known as WWE star Kalisto) will challenge for the AAA Mega Championship at the promotion’s TripleMania Regia event on December 4.
AAA announced the news in a tweet on November 23, the day after Kenny Omega vacated the title due to various injuries. Omega had been set to defend the championship against El Hijo del Vikingo, who will still compete for the title at TripleMania Regia
Del Sol was described as the “first” contender, so it’s fair to expect that other participants for the match will be announced.
