Lynn and Waltman clashed many times throughout their careers, dating back to 1990, when both men were breaking into the wrestling scene in Minnesota. Priot to his last match in 2013, Lynn had a remarkable career; he won the ECW World Championship, and he was later inducted into the company’s Hardcore Hall of Fame. He is also a former Ring of Honor World Champion, and he was prominently featured in the early days of TNA. There, he won several titles, such as the TNA X-Division Championship and the NWA World Tag Team Championship. Lynn is currently signed to All Elite Wrestling, where he works as a coach/producer.
GCW announced the formation of the Indie Wrestling Hall of Fame in a previous tweet. The promotion revealed that it’s teaming up with Orange Crush for the hall’s inaugural Induction Ceremony and Gala, which will be held at The Cutting Room in New York City on January 22. In the tweet, GCW noted that the ceremony will stream live, presumably on FITE.
Update: in another tweet, GCW announced that Homicide will also be inducted into the Indie Wrestling Hall of Fame; Chris Dickinson will induct him. Homicide is a former Ring of Honor World Champion, and he is also a seven-time JAPW World and Tag Team Champion. He continues to compete throughout the wrestling world for promotions like ROH, GCW, and DEFY, among others.
