Jay Lethal vs. EC3, Women’s Title Match Announced For ROH Wrestling The Weekend Of 11/27

Ring of Honor is loading up the card for the episode of ROH Wrestling that will air the weekend of November 27.

In the newest edition of Eck’s Files on the company’s official website, ROH staff member Kevin Eck has announced three buzzworthy bouts for the show.

Former world champions will collide when Jay Lethal faces EC3. This clash will be a first-time encounter between the two stars, and it comes with plenty of intrigue. In addition to Lethal’s perceived betrayal of The Foundation, “The Franchise” recently signed with AEW. He has confirmed that he won’t appear at the Final Battle pay-per-view, so this bout might be one of his final appearances on ROH programming.

Likewise, PCO will team up with Danhausen to face The Briscoes on the same episode. “The French Frankenstein” is set to enter free agency in December; much like Lethal’s bout, this contest seems set to be one of the former ROH World Champion’s matches for the company. On the other hand, The Briscoes will hope to pick up some momentum heading into ROH Final Battle: End of an Era, where they’ll challenge The OGK for the ROH World Tag Team Championship.

Plus, three-time MCW Pro Wrestling Women’s Champion Gia Scott will challenge Rok-C for the ROH Women’s World Championship. The self-proclaimed “Greatest Damn Woman” has been demanding a shot, and ROH Board of Directors Maria Kanellis-Bennett has reluctantly given it to her. Rok-C has been defending her title on the independent scene since she won it at ROH Death Before Dishonor in September.

But first, the episode of ROH Wrestling that will air the weekend of November 20 offers three noteworthy matches in its own right. Dragon Lee will defend the ROH World Television Championship against Dalton Castle, and former ROH Pure Champion John Walters will take on “The Mecca” Brian Johnson in a Pure Rules Match.

The show will also feature a triple threat match between Trish Adora, Allysin Kay and Mandy Leon. The winner will face Willow the following weekend on ROH Wrestling to determine Rok-C’s challenger for Final Battle.
