Mustafa Ali had a vision for a new America… but his vision won’t be seen as he originally intended.
Mustafa Ali posted the following statement along with a video for an unaired campaign promo where he intended to share his vision for a “new America” in his vision. Ali said that for “reasons beyond my control,” his vision won’t become a reality, but still wanted to share what he had in mind on social media.
“A few weeks ago, I made a statement that some deemed controversial. my intentions were to bring a beautiful vision to life. unfortunately, for reasons beyond my control, I won’t be able to make that vision a reality. but I can share with you what could have been,” Ali wrote.
The controversial statement Ali is referring to was his promo on the October 29 episode of WWE SmackDown when he claimed that fans had no issue cheering Drew McIntyre, but the only reason people booed him was because of his name.
