Ruby Soho was just as surprised to see Adam Cole and Bryan Danielson show up at AEW All Out as the rest of us.
AEW star Ruby Soho recently appeared on FITE TV’s ‘Women’s Wrestling Talk’ and explained how she ‘didn’t know much of anything’ about potential surprises at AEW’s All Out pay-per-view, where she herself was a surprise debut.
“I didn’t know any of them. I had no idea. I didn’t know a lot of what was going on that day. Like I knew, the matches that were announced. That I was excited to see. But I didn’t know, Adam was gonna be there, I didn’t know Bryan was coming; I didn’t know any of that. Like I’d seen the rumblings you know, obviously on the dirt sheets, but you know, you never know stuff like that. Like you never know what to believe or anything but I had no idea and I was so wrapped up in the day as a whole and what it meant for me,” Ruby explained, “and all the anticipation that had built up to kind of that moment that I was just almost was just like on sensory overload that day. I was just super excited to see my best friend. I was super excited to see all my old friends. I was excited to start in this new company. I was nervous as all get out, so it was just a lot of emotions that day.”
Ruby Soho will face Kris Statlander in the next round of the TBS Women’s Championship tournament, and would face the winner of the Nyla Rose versus Hikaru Shida match in the semifinal round.
