After carving a name for himself on the Canadian independent wrestling scene, “Speedball” Mike Bailey can now call IMPACT Wrestling home. Bailey literally put pen to paper on the back of Josh Alexander during a Destiny Wrestling show on Halloween and the energy was strong for the upcoming star. IMPACT executive Scott D’Amore was the man to saunter out and offer Bailey a contract. The whole occurrence was documented by IMPACT Wrestling below:
Josh Alexander, an established face in IMPACT, took to Twitter to state Bailey was “steal of a signing people [will] talk about in five years.” Bailey, who was reportedly near signing a WWE contract until visa and travel issues presented a problem, took to social media to thank everyone for the support
“Despite setbacks and hardships I’ve had in my wrestling career, I only feel blessed & grateful for the love & support that I have received continuously in return for my hard work. I couldn’t do any of it without you all. Thank you. I’ll keep doing my best!”
Man. What a moment… Still feels unreal.
Thank you all so much. ❤? https://t.co/ZlvmK3hPLF
