Beastman is coming to Major League Wrestling.
On Monday, MLW announced Beastman signed a deal with the promotion. Hailing from “Deepest Darkest West Virginia,” the superheavyweight competed in July’s Battle Riot match in Philadelphia, and he is set to compete at Fightland on Saturday, October 2.
From MLW:
Super heavyweight sensation Beastman has signed with MLW. Making his debut in the Battle Riot, the 394 pounder rumbled with some of the league’s best and impressed all.
While details about his new MLW contract remain under wraps, MLW.com has learned that Kimchee had an active presence in brokering the deal.
Could Beastman be part of Kimchee’s new stable of behemoths? We may find out this Saturday as Beastman is confirmed to be in competition at Philly’s 2300 Arena. See Beastman LIVE. Buy Tickets
Kimchee recently made his resurgence at Battle Riot and looks to rebuild his lineup in MLW. The former handler of Kamala in WWE, Kimchee was portrayed by Steve Lombardi (aka the Brooklyn Brawler) during The Ugandan Giant’s mid-80s run as well as in subsequent appearances on WWE TV.
In addition to competing in MLW’s Battle Riot match, he has also recently worked for Pale Pro, Warrior Wrestling and Keystone State Wrestling Alliance. One of his recent matches (for Pale) was against Calvin Tankman, a fellow superheavyweight on the MLW roster.
