Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax have been at odds with one another for the past couple of weeks, but things came to a head Monday on WWE RAW when Baszler beat her former friend in a match and attacked her after the bell.
In a singles match between the former teammates who won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship twice, Baszler survived some early attacks from “The Irresistible Force.” Jax hit “The Queen of Spades” with some stiff strikes, but Baszler persevered. As the match went on, Baszler only grew more confident, and late in the bout, she was able to end the fight by dropping Jax and making her pass out in the Kirifuda Clutch,.
After the bell, Baszler wouldn’t let up, as she violently assault Jax. Baszler tossed her out of the ring with some vicious plans for her fallen friend. On the outside, Baszler wedged Jax’s hand underneath the top step of the ring before brutally stomping on the stairs. Despite Jax pleading with her to not do it, Baszler did it once again, seemingly cementing the end of their tenuous relationship. Jax repeatedly screamed in agony, so she’ll be feeling the effects of this beatdown for a while.
