“The Man” will meet “The EST” once more at WWE Extreme Rules as Becky Lynch inked the deal to face Bianca Belair at the pay-per-view this week on Friday Night Smackdown.
Belair came to the ring, ready to sign the contract to invoke her rematch against the returning Lynch, but the matter wasn’t settled without some mind games from the champion. Lynch came decked out in a fur coat of deep red and sunglasses covering up 80% of her head to tell Belair she saw the fan in Bianca when “The Man” made her surprise return. She said there’s nothing wrong with being a fan at ringside like everybody else, but that’s all the more reason why she’s the current champion. She then stated she left her daughter at home to get back to work, and “The Man” made it clear that she felt disrespected by the fans and management alike.
The crowd began to turn on Lynch and especially did so when she teased that she wouldn’t sign the contract. After a lengthy pause, Lynch signed the deal to make the match official before she tossed the contract Belair’s way.
