The Creed Brothers Join Diamond Mine
Roderick Strong, the leader of Diamond Mine, made a severe statement in his open challenge this week on WWE NXT. Strong wasn’t just accompanied by Malcolm Bivens and Hideki Suzuki of Diamond Mine, as the Diamond Mine recruits known as the Creed Brothers were also at ringside.
Ikeman Jiro answered the call, and Strong made him pay all match long. The former Undisputed Era star hit a nasty hip toss on Jiro against the steel steps. Strong remained dominant as Jiro’s back became the focus for “The Messiah of the Backbreaker.” Jiro soon gained a brief window of momentum against Strong, but a pop-up vertical backbreaker not once, but twice, kept Ikeman down for the 1-2-3. –
Strong then made it clear to KUSHIDA post-match that the Cruiserweight Championship is his to hold.

Kayden Carter & Kacy Catanzaro Challenge For Tag Titles Next Week
The men’s NXT Tag Team Championship aren’t the only belts on the line next week; Io Shirai and Zoey Stark will put their Women’s Tag Titles up against Kayden Carter and Kacy Catanzaro on next week’s episode of NXT. Carter and Catanzaro have won three conseuctive matches as a duo, and this bout will mark the champions’ first defense.
