Current AEW star Max Caster will be in Chicago during All Out weekend and as of now it’s only to perform live at a local lounge in the Windy City. On Thursday, September 2, “Platinum” Max will be at the Bottom Lounge on W. Lake St. to do a solo show in which he will perform live.

Caster has not been seen on AEW programming since rapping controversial lyrics about Olympian Simone Biles and making sexual references regarding the 2006 Duke lacrosse criminal case to Julia Hart on an episode of AEW Dark. The segment received negative feedback on social media and was removed by AEW production. Tony Khan was on Busted Open Radio after the incident to condemn the lyrics as terrible and then said he’d be monitoring all programs closely moving forward. Since then, Caster has put up some of his AEW wrestling attire on eBay and his Acclaimed partner Anthony Bowens has been in singles matches sans Max. That has caused a lot of fans to wonder Caster’s status with the company, but it was reported by Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer that Caster has been sent to sensitivity training by the company. Fightful also reported that appearances Caster have been “put on ice” at the moment.
