WWE 2K22 will be out in time for WrestleMania season.
The 2K team premiered a new WWE 2K22 teaser video during the SummerSlam broadcast that gives fans their first glimpse of several WWE Superstars in action in the new video game. It was also confirmed on the broadcast that WWE 2K22 will be released in March 2022, breaking tradition by being released outside of its typical October window.
Earlier this week, 2K revealed the first fully-rendered screenshot of WWE Superstar Edge. More details, including a full announcement of game features and modes, the WWE 2K22 cover Superstar and more will be revealed starting in January 2022.

This will be the first WWE video game in the main ‘2K’ series since 2K20 was released in October 2019. Last year’s game, WWE 2K21, was canceled due to poor performance, and 2K Games and Visual Concepts held off on releasing a game last year to work out the issues with the game found in 2K20.
In place of a yearly title, WWE 2K Battlegrounds was released on September 17, 2020. The arcade-style battle royal game continues to receive support and regular updates and add-ons.
