Karl Anderson: DOC Gallows Negotiated For A No-Cut Clause In WWE, I Told Him We Wouldn’t Need It

Karl Anderson says the Good Brothers got lucky by not having an important clause in their final WWE contracts.

Anderson took to social media to respond to a rumor that Adam Cole was recently offered $1 million to re-sign with WWE, revealing some new details about his own prior negotiations with the company. Anderson explained that DOC Gallows had asked the company for a no-cut clause in their contracts, but he said they wouldn’t need one.

..@The_BigLG asked for a no cut clause. I said “shit we don’t need it “One more for the big guy #FuckEm

Despite signing multi-year contracts with WWE the year prior, The Good Brothers were ultimately released by WWE in April 2020 due to budget cuts as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The pair would go on to sign two-year deals with IMPACT Wrestling in July 2020. They are currently in their second reign as IMPACT Tag Team Champions, and regularly appear on All Elite Wrestling programming as part of Kenny Omega’s entourage. Anderson and Gallows will also make another appearance on New Japan Pro-Wrestling programming, as they’re set to face off with Jon Moxley and a mystery opponent at NJPW Resurgence on August 14.
