First Semifinal Match Set For WWE NXT Breakout Tournament
Carmelo Hayes has advanced to the semifinal round of the WWE NXT Breakout Tournament.
With a win over Josh Briggs in a first-round bout on Tuesday, Hayes advanced in the tournament. He will face Duke Hudson in the next round.

Hudson clinched his spot with a win over Ikemen Jiro. Odyssey Jones has also secured his place in the semifinals, as he beat Andre Chase. Next week, Joe Gacy will face Trey Baxter to determine Jones’ opponent in the semifinals.

Roderick Strong Vows To Finish Bobby Fish
In addition to the Breakout Tournament match, the August 3 episode will feature a heated match between two former tag team partners. Roderick Strong will face Bobby Fish in a clash of former Undisputed Era stablemates.
During an interview on Tuesday night, Strong vowed to finish Fish next week in order to put their feud behind him and move onto bigger and better things. Strong has regained a prominent role on the black-and-gold brand as the leader of Diamond Mine, and he’ll look to pick up a signature win for the group next week.
