Dan Lambert ran his mouth at AEW’s special “Road Rager” edition of Dynamite, and he paid for it.
Lambert, the founder and owner of the American Top Team, a renowned MMA team and facility, cut a heated promo on Wednesday night. Though AEW General Manager Tony Khan invited him to the show, Lambert blasted modern professional wrestling and argued that it pales in comparison to the sport’s past greatness.
MMA fighters Jorge Masvidal and Amanda Nunes, the UFC Women’s Featherweight and Bantamweight Champion, accompanied Lambert and appeared on the show during his rant.
AEW star Lance Archer decided to shut Lambert up and dropped him with an emphatic slam, much to the delight of the crowd.
.@LanceHoyt has heard enough from @AmericanTopTeam's #DanLambert and hits him with the #BlackOut while @UFC's @GamebredFighter & @Amanda_Leoa look on!
