While it’s nice that WWE wants to improve the morale in their company, maybe they should do things like this after they are finally done with all of their releases?
Before the latest round of releases, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful reports that the black and gold brand of WWE NXT held a talent show at the WWE Performance Center on Wednesday, June 23, as a way to boost the morale of the roster. This might have been more successful if they didn’t release multiple NXT acts involved in said talent show days after it took place.
According to the report, attendance for the talent show was mandatory, and talent acts seen ranged from “singing to stand-up comedy.” Before you wonder about who won said talent show, it was said that no official winners were announced, and the entire event was just done for fun in order to raise the spirits of the NXT roster.
While this seems like a good idea, in theory, it also seems poorly timed, and hopefully, WWE is more careful about scheduling things like this in the future.
