Akira Tozawa lost the WWE 24/7 Championship on Monday night, but he quickly got it back.
This week on WWE RAW, Tozawa competed in a battle royal to determine Randy Orton’s replacement in the Last Chance Money in the Bank qualifying match. When Tozawa was eliminated, former champion Drew Gulak pinned him at ringside to regain the title. But in less than a minute, R-Truth pinned him to take the title back yet again. Unfortunately for R-Truth, Tozawa quickly pinned him to win the title.
Truth’s temporary victory marked his 52nd reign as the champion, while Tozawa has now won the title ten times.
