Two cowbell cruiserweights on WWE 205 Live were Tony Nese and Ariya Daivari and as of Friday afternoon both are gone from the company. However, that doesn’t mean the two aren’t proud of the work that they did for the brand. Nese commented on his release yesterday stating, “Thank you everyone! I don’t care about how unwatched and underappreciated 205 was. I busted my ass every single time I stepped foot in the ring doing whatever was asked of me with no questions asked. I can’t wait to be that type of employee for someone else.”
Daivari, who was partners for a time with Nese on the brand followed up on that by saying, “I was really enjoying what Tony Nese and I were doing as a tag team on 205. Every single time, we worked as hard as possible, despite the show not being highly positioned. That’s what professionals do. And that’s what we’ll continue to do!”

Adam Pearce, gave Nese well wishes and showed his love for the 205 brand. “I always appreciated it – and you – very much,” Pearce Tweeted. Nese then went on to note how interictal of a role Adam played in making that show run.
“This man right here was the godfather of 205,” Nese said of Pearce. “One of the few that fought for us and pushed us to work hard every day no matter the circumstances. I’m pretty sure he hated me at first but I think we’re cool now.”
