Next week, AEW Dynamite returns to their regular timeslots on Wednesdays, but before that, we have one more special edition of Dynamite that will air live tomorrow at 8 PM on TNT.
This morning, Tony Khan was a guest on Busted Open Radio on SiriusXM with Ryan McKinnell and Mark Henry to talk about tomorrow’s episode of AEW Dynamite.
During the segment called “Tony Time,” Khan revealed a new match and segment for tomorrow’s show. “All Ego” Ethan Page will go one-on-one with Bear Bronson of Bear Country. Will Page be able to utilize his Ego’s Landing finisher on someone the size of Bronson? Tune in to find out.
Also, Konnan will return to AEW Dynamite to go face-to-face with Tully Blanchard of The Pinnacle. Konnan was last seen as the DJ during Stadium Stampede II while FTR brawled with Santana and Ortiz.
Konnan’s history with Santana and Ortiz is well documented going back to IMPACT Wrestling, where he made the duo the latest iteration of LAX. So what role will Konnan play in All Elite Wrestling as we advance? We’ll find out soon enough.

Santana & Ortiz recently spoke with WrestleZone and were asked about finding a balance between learning from their peers and working on their own. The duo was featured on a past episode of Talk Is Jericho, where Ortiz had said that Konnan had been there for them in IMPACT Wrestling as a mentor to guide them, but they had become a little more self-sufficient in AEW.
Asked about how they go about learning from a veteran like Chris Jericho in AEW while still doing things on their own, Ortiz first explained how Jericho has treated them like equals from the beginning and it’s been a great experience before Santana spoke about how Konnan helped prepare them for the next step of their careers.
Santana: “Our time in IMPACT with Konnan, it definitely prepared us to enter this new world of AEW. We had guys like him show us a lot of things and [he was] making sure he always had our best interest, but coming into AEW,” Santana said, “it was our chance to put that knowledge that we had gained at our time in IMPACT with Konnan and put it to use and actually show our abilities and our knowledge and our ways of handling business.”
“Of course, thankfully we have guys like Jericho and not just him but so many other veterans out in the back that we can also go to for advice with them being so willing to help. But yeah, it’s just been a great experience and again, the beauty about pro wrestling is that you’re always learning and it’s evolving and changing and there’s always new things to learn,” he explained. “And that’s just the ultimate beauty of pro wrestling, that you never stop learning and we’re those types of guys, not just in our professional life but our personal life also. We just always like to progress and be better and learn as individuals.”
