Moose’s contract status remains unclear.
The former TNA World Heavyweight Champion’s contract with IMPACT Wrestling is set to expire in June, and he’d be one of the most noteworthy free agents on the market if he left the company.
On Friday, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer reported that Moose re-signed with IMPACT Wrestling, but in a follow-up, Fightful emphasized that the promotion is trying to resign the former Grand Champion.
Later in the day, Moose personally responded to the Wrestling Observer’s tweet about his reported new contract.
“Not true,” he wrote.

In a second tweet, Moose asked people to get news about his career directly from him.

Moose is set to challenge Kenny Omega for the IMPACT World Championship at the Against All Odds event next month.
WrestleZone will provide more details as they become available.
