Rhodes faced off against Marshall a week after the two brawled atop a bus. The bitter enemies picked up right where they left off by fighting each other as soon as they stood in the same ring. After they traded punches, Rhodes raked Marshall’s eyes and back before hitting him with a nasty elbow to the head. Despite the early onslaught, Marshall rebounded, and he even dropped “The American Nightmare” with a Cross Rhodes that nearly ended the bout.
As the match came to a close, both men began going for broke with every attack. Though Marshall kicked out of the Cross Rhodes, he had no choice but to tap out to the Figure-Four leg-lock.

After the bell, Anthony Ogogo came running down to the ring and hit Rhodes with a ferocious body blow that knocked him out. Ogogo then draped the British flag over Rhodes’ body to send him an emphatic message.
