NXT UK will not be taking over Dublin after all.
According to a Ticketmaster listing for the event, NXT UK TakeOver: Dublin has officially been cancelled. The event was scheduled to take place on June 20, but the listing states that sales for the event have been stopped.
Inside The Ropes’ Gary Cassidy also shared the following statement from WWE about the event:
“NXTUK Live: Dublin scheduled to take place at 3Arena, Dublin on Sunday, June 20 2021 has been cancelled. Refunds will be available from point of purchase.”
The event was originally scheduled to take place on April 26, 2020, but it was rescheduled to October in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The event was once again rescheduled, moving from October 25, 2020, to the most recent date of June 20, 2021.
