Anthony Bowens Returning To Action Ahead Of Schedule; Credits Crowbar For Safe Recovery

Anthony Bowens is back in action tonight after dealing with a knee injury and its impending surgery earlier in the year. Bowens  was out of Acclaimed commission since around February when he and Max Caster went up against Jericho and MJF on an early February episode of AEW Dynamite. Back then, Bowens cited his knee problem as one that’s been lingering, but now he’ll step back in the ring tonight as The Acclaimed take on Liam Gray and Adrian Alanis.

Bowens expected time out of action  was slated for 6-8 weeks, but that all was sped up in a safe manner by wrestling veteran Crowbar, who is a licensed physical therapist. Bowens decided to share such details of the man who helped him recover.

A massive thank you goes out to Crowbar for getting me back to the ring safely weeks ahead of schedule. 4 days a week of intense physical therapy and pushing me to the limit. #DoTheWork #CriticallyAcclaimed.”

While Bowens was on the shelf, Caster had quite the singles run as he partook in the AEW Eliminator Ladder Match at Revolution and then had a Dynamite battle with Hangman Page.
