When it comes to the storyline between Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton, the plot has thickened.
WWE WrestleMania 37 Night Two opened with a heated grudge match between Randy Orton and “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt. The two stars have been engaged in a heated rivalry for months, and it has continued to escalate since Orton burned The Fiend at WWE TLC.
In this match, Orton hoped to end The Fiend once and for all. Alexa Bliss walked down the ramp and wound up a massive jack-in-the-box. The Fiend rose out of it in his original form, as his burns seemingly healed. He attacked Orton, and his previously synonymous red light continued to fill the arena.
Wyatt quickly locked in the Mandible Claw and maintained control of the match. Orton sent The Fire into the box and dropped him with a DDT. The monster continued to absorb everything Orton threw at him.
Wyatt countered the RKO into the Mandible Claw, and Bliss, covered in black goo, rose out of the box when The Fiend was about to hit Sister Abigail. The Fiend reached out to her, but Orton dropped him with an RKO for the win.
After the match, Wyatt stared at Bliss, and they both disappeared.
