Kushida vs. Pete Dunne
As soon as the bell rings Dunne tries to lock in a triangle. Kushida counters and almost locks in an armbar. Neither man can get the early advantage, Kushida rolls Dunne into a modified wrist lock. Kushida counters with a top wrist lock into a hammerlock. After a bit of misdirection, Dunne hits the X-Plex on the apron. Using the bottom rope, Dunne snaps Kushida’s arm backward. Dunne stomps on Kushida’s head. Kushida and Dunne trade strikes. Hip toss into a dropkick by Kushida. Dunne rolls out of the ring. Dunne misses a dive to the outside but he lands on his feet.
Dunne kicks Kushida in the leg. Dunne whips Kushida to the ropes but Kushida handsprings and hits a back elbow. Kushida runs the length of the ramp and kicks Dunne in the arm. Dunne rolls back into the ring. As soon as Kushida joins him, Dunne locks in a submission, Kushida escapes. Dunne tries another springboard back elbow but Dunne capture’s Kushida’s arm. Dunne snaps Kushida’s fingers. Kushida fires up and hits the blackout for a near fall. After the break, Kushida and Dunne trade submission attempt and strike. Kushida ends the flurry with a stiff right hand.
Kushida dropkicks Dunne’s arm. Kushida whips Dunne into the corner. Dunne tries to go for his patented backflip off the top but Kushida handspring attacks him. Kushida flips Dunne off the top rope into a flying Hoverboard Lock. Dunne manages to get to the bottom rope. Kushida releases the hold, but snaps Dunne’s opposite arm. Kushida puts Dunne in a modified Rings of Saturn. Dunne manages to get his leg on the bottom rope. Dunne tries to use the ropes but Kushida dives and drops a knee on Dunne’s arm. Kushida puts Dunne in another submission. Dunne gets his foot on the bottom rope. Kushida catches Kushida’s hand and snaps his fingers again. Dunne stomps on Kushida’s fingers, twice. Dunne hits the Bitter End for the win.
