After weeks of teases, Christian Cage finally made his All Elite Wrestling in-ring debut against SCU’s Frankie Kazarian.

Cage was in great shape, but Kazarian didn’t take it easy against his former Total Nonstop Action foe. The familiar wrestlers traded heavy blows and Kazarian took a cheap shot at Christian by pushing him off the top rope after the referee broke them apart. Kaz then started to work over Cage’s neck with holds and knees.

Cage would get back into the bout by hitting a swinging DDT. A European uppercut would net the former WWE star a two count. Slightly after the 10-minute mark, Kazarian was able to counter a Killswitch attempt. Cage would then go to the top rope once again and missed a dive. Shockingly, Cage would kick out of a Flux Capacitor by Kazarian. With time nearing the 20-minute limit, Cage was able to finally hit the Killswitch and win the match.

This was Christian’s first actual singles match (not counting a one-minute angle with Randy Orton last year) since 2014.
