Brian Kendrick is preparing for life after wrestling as a WWE producer.
“Initially the idea of producing just seemed like it was a good, I’m not sure if retirement plan is the right thing, but the next best thing to wrestling,” said Kendrick. “But it turns out it’s just as rewarding in different ways. I love every bit of it. It’s a whole new way of looking at wrestling for me. I welcome the challenge and if I get to produce four matches and wrestle twice in one night, I’d do it. I’m pumped.
It should be noted that while Kendrick discusses life after wrestling, he doesn’t say he is retired in the video and is labeled as a WWE Superstar and producer within it.
“I didn’t realize how much I would enjoy it to work with these young ladies and men. I get to participate without taking any of the bumps, which is really nice. It’s got me really excited about potentially doing this long-term,” Kendrick says at the end.
