Edge and Jey Uso met in the ring during tonight’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown to decide who would be the Guest Enforcer for Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns’ match at the Fastlane pay-per-view. In his first single’s match for the brand in nearly a decade, Edge came out on top, and will now serve a special role at Fastlane.

Things came to an end for Uso after Edge was able to survive a huge superkick after missing on a spear. After kicking out of the kick, Edge then targeted Jey’s injured shoulder, and landed a big slam onto Uso which hit right on the elbow. Too hurt to really do anything else, Uso had no defense for Edge’s second attempt at a spear, which landed hard and gave him the win.

After the match, though, things went south for both Edge and Daniel Bryan. Roman Reigns made his way down to the ring, and hit Edge with a huge spear before watching as Daniel Bryan was attacked from behind by Uso. After rolling Bryan into the ring, Reigns then hit him with a spear as well, and both he and Uso stood over Edge and Bryan ahead of when Reigns will take to the ring against Bryan at Fastlane.
