Despite COVID-19 cases and deaths soaring, Game Changer Wrestling’s The Collective is returning for WrestleMania week.
Called GCW The Collective Remix, it will take place over a three-day span of April 8, 9, and 10 (WrestleMania 37 will occur April 10 and 11). All events will stream live on Fite and will occur outside at the Cuban Club courtyard in Ybor City, Florida.
Per Fightful, the following events will take place:
- Jimmy Lloyd’s D-Generation F
- The Acid Cup (a two-day 16-man tournament)
- Joey Janela’s Spring Break
- GCW For the Culture
- Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport
- Allie Kat’s Hot Girl Shit
- Effy’s Big Gay Brunch
- Planet Death
- Unsanctioned
- VXS
- No Peace Underground
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic still going strong, the outdoors event will be capped at 20 percent capacity. Masks will also be required and there’ll be a “socially distanced seating chart.” Similar rules were enforced for last year’s GCW The Collective, which still resulted in a COVID-19 outbreak among independent wrestlers, fans and forced talent to be pulled from other events (some of which were completely canceled).
