At AEW All Out 2020, Matt Hardy suffered a concussion-scare during his match with Sammy Guevara after he fell from a scissor lift and hit his head on concrete.

In a new interview with Metro, Matt’s brother, Jeff Hardy revealed his reaction to the scary fall and while comparing it to a recent scare of his own during his Symphony of Destruction Match against Elias on a recent episode of Monday Night RAW, Jeff Hardy would explain why this is all a part of the job.

”Terrifying! When he tried to get up and then he fell down – when you hit your head hard, that’s scary stuff. That was scary, man, with Matt – flesh on concrete, it was scary when he couldn’t walk. Gosh, man – thank God he’s okay, but that’s part of the game.”

He continued, “Even in that Symphony of Destruction match with Elias, people thought my head was messed up from the stairs but it was easy, my head is fine,” he said. “When I did the Whisper in the Wind and he hit me in the butt with the guitar, my back is still messed up from that. ‘But that’s part of the job, you know – you’re gonna get hurt.”

Matt Hardy is currently mentoring Private Party on AEW, Jeff Hardy is currently teaming with another “bro” of his, Matt Riddle, over on WWE RAW.
