WWE SmackDown viewership was down this week, but that was to be expected due to it being on FS1 rather than FOX.
According to Showbuzz Daily, SmackDown drew 1,030,000 viewers on the cable channel. Of course, that is lower than last week as it did 2.106 million on FOX last week. It wound up at No. 5 in the 18-49 demographic, with a .30 rating. “Gold Rush” took the top two spots, while a Dr. Seuss film and NBA coverage rounded out the top five.
This isn’t the first SmackDown to air on FS1. Previously, the Oct. 25, 2019 episode did 888,000 viewers and the Oct. 23, 2020 episode earlier this year did 881,000.
YEAR-TO-DATE RANKINGS
- 2.687 million – February 28 – 2020 High
- 881,000 – October 23 – 2020 Low (was on FS1)
- 1.030 million – December 18 – This Week
