Throughout most of tonight’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Kevin Owens was the victim of various assaults at the hands of both Roman Reigns and Jey Uso. At the end of the night, Owens was once again assaulted in brutal fashion, but he managed to pull himself up and tell Reigns that either he’s going to win the Universal Championship or die trying.
In the ring at the end of the episode, Owens was absolutely brutalized by both Reigns and Uso, as they put Owens through a table before tossing in tables, ladders, and chairs onto his motionless body. After leaving the ring and heading backstage, Reigns and Uso were shocked to find that Owens was able to pull himself out of the rubble, and sit himself down on a chair with a microphone. Owens said that there isn’t anything Reigns or his family can do to keep him down, and at WWE’s TLC, Owens is going to win the WWE Universal Championship or die trying.
