Several superstars are riding high after successful outings on this week’s episode of WWE RAW. In WWE Network Exclusives, Riddle, Keith Lee and AJ Styles reflected on their victories on Monday night and previewed their triple threat match next week.
Styles was confident in his chances of walking away victorious next week. “I’ve beat Riddle before,” said Styles. “Never been in the ring with Keith Lee, [and]Keith Lee will have to learn to get in line.”
“The Phenomenal One” also focused on his experience as a world champion. “I’m a two-time WWE champion,” said Styles. “I know what it takes to be the WWE champion. [Lee’s] just not ready for AJ Styles.”
In an interview, Lee discussed his friendship with Riddle, but he emphasized that he won’t be holding back when a WWE Championship match is on the line. “We go back years, and he knows very well, if we get into a match, I’m going to bring the same intensity against him as I would against someone I despise,” said Lee. “This is about what’s at the end of the journey, and that’s a WWE championship opportunity….Opportunity’s one of my favorite words because when I get them, I tend to smash them, and that’s what I intend to do next week.”
Riddle took a different approach when he was asked about the upcoming triple threat match. He was excited to have the opportunity to win both the WWE Championship and Drew McIntyre’s sword. “Not only am I one step closer to the WWE title chance opportunity,” said Riddle. “I’m one step closer to that dope sword.”
Riddle ended his interview with a glance at a potential future for WWE RAW. “I could be the Bro That Runs The Show,” said Riddle.
Meanwhile, on WWE RAW Talk, Lana discussed her triumph over Nia Jax and her ongoing mission to prove her doubters wrong. “I think, slowly but surely, I’m proving that I belong, and I belong here, and I’m actually gonna stay,” said Lana. “I’m not going anywhere. So the entire RAW women’s division, and all the divisions in WWE, women, need to know that I’m here to stay.”
