Dark Side of the Ring is currently well underway on filming its third season, and several topics for the show’s next batch of episodes have been revealed by their interview subjects. The show, which covers unseemly and covered up aspects of wrestling outside the squared circle, is looking to cover Grizzly Smith, Brian Pillman, and the joint WCW/New Japan event that occurred in North Korea.

This comes from PWInsider, who has confirmed that all three of Grizzly Smith’s offspring were interviewed for an episode on their father. Wrestling fans will already be familiar with allegations against the wrestler, as Jake the Snake went into detail about his abusive ways while filming Beyond The Mat in the 90s. Eric Bishoff has discussed the other two episodes while speaking on his 83 Weeks podcast, and the North Korea episode has been an anticipated target for the show’s creators.
Fans can currently catch up on the first two seasons of the show, which covered everything from Chris Benoit to Herb Abrams, on Hulu.
