Sasha Banks made an appearance during tonight’s Friday Night SmackDown, where she spoke briefly about how she feels following the assault she received by Bayley. Unfortunately, Banks once again fell victim to an attack, as Bayley surprised the superstar backstage with another beatdown.
During her brief interview, Banks was asked about the extent of her injuries, simply responding with “I’m still here, ain’t I?” When it came to the message that Bayley had for Banks last week, where she said that she was simply using her former friend, Banks had a lot to say. “And now I’m nothing to her? She was using me and now I’m just useless to her,” she said. “I heard every single word Bayley said last week and I can’t help but be filled with emotions while I sit here in the Performance Center, a place that we built … We used to walk these halls just to talk about everything we have achieved now. This whole summer here at the Performance Center, we showed the world and told the world that we were going to take over the whole damn company together.”
Finally, Banks had a message for Bayley herself, where she told the WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion that she was going to take her belt. “I came here this week to answer your questions. If you want to say I think you’re some type of idiot, that I think you’re naive, Bayley I know that you’re watching this,” she said. “You’re damn straight, you are an idiot. You are naive. You are nothing without me. Since I’m useless to you now, one day I am going to take the one thing you love – the SmackDown Women’s Championship.”
Unfortunately for Banks, Bayley was doing more than watching, as she was near her in the moment. Shortly after Banks finished speaking, Bayley ambushed her former friend, delivering another assault to Banks that left her in immense pain once again.
