Early in the month, Santino Marella announced via his personal Facebook that he planned on moving on from his Battle Arts Academy school and considerably scale back operations.

In a new tweet, the former WWE Intercontinental Champion announced new plans to keep the Academy open and going strong with the introduction of his new business partners, Dave Sciara & Adam Cocca of HWE.
Ladies & gentlemen I am very pleased to announce that Battle Arts Academy will live on! I’d like to Introduce my new partners Dave Sciara & Adam Cocca of HWE. They’ll be running the day to day operations & we’ll be working together closely to bring the best version of BAA yet!

Santino was a WWE Superstar on main roster television from 2007 to 2016. In that time, he won the WWE Intercontinental Championship, the WWE United States Championship, and had several reigns as a WWE Tag Team Champion. He would also win the Miss WrestleMania Battle Royal at Wrestlemania 25 as his “sister,” Santina Marella.
